We know that time is of the essence, especially when you’re juggling between your online store and your loved ones this hectic holiday season. So as our gift to you, we’ve created a way to save major minutes when editing your online store, learning about new features and updating your store design.
New and Improved Quick Edit Toolbar
Available to all stores using V11 of our software, the latest Quick Edit toolbar allows you to do the following:
- Directly access your store’s dashboard
- Go straight to the admin page that corresponds to the storefront page
- Quickly edit text articles and graphic elements on your storefront page
- Easily access helpful information to utilize the page
Our goal in improving this useful editing tool was to simplify its interaction, so we removed a lot of extraneous configuration variables and cleaned up the design. Take a look to see how much easier this tool is to use:
Click the “Dashboard” link to quickly open your admin pages at the Dashboard
Click the “Edit” option for a menu of options to make quick changes to whatever page you’re on
Click the “Get Help” button to find support information in a snap

Admin Feature Announcement Bar
We’re always cranking out lots of new features and enhancements, and we want you to be the first to know about them. To keep you updated, we’ve added a small bar in your store admin that details our latest feature announcements. Once you read the message, you can either close it out or click the “Learn more” button for more information.

The new edit features are FANtastic. We can now edit our office furniture products more quickly and keep our content up-to-date in a more timely manner.
I love the new toolbar. I only need to have the one browser window open now.

I LOVE this new feature!! It’s awesome to be able to edit a product while you are on your website, and not have to jump to the admin in separate window. Thank you Volusion!
When logged into my storefront I see this new bar but only the dashboard button works. The edit and get help button are dead. Nothing happens when I click or hover.
