create an iPhone optimized site or an iPhone specific site”

Does this mean that Volusion is going to start directly supporting the mobile shopping platform?

Personally I would be willing to pay extra every month for a direct tie-in to my site. As Amazon, Target, and most the outside world has shown us, the market for mobile shopping/ordering is where e-commerce is headed.

Nearly our entire office has iPhones, so we came up with an iPhone-friendly design for Volusion stores that covers all the essential points above! It's sooo much easier to browse a site made for iPhone when you're on the go, and it really stands out from the competition when a store makes this available for their customers.

I can't tell you how many times I've been in a brick and mortar store, pulled out my iPhone, and decided to buy online instead!
